As 2025 approaches, we’re reflecting on 2024 and extending our thanks to all who engaged with our PLD offerings. This year, over 700 of you attended our workshops or online courses, demonstrating an inspiring commitment to lifelong learning. Your support during this challenging year has energised the Ako Aotearoa team, as we’re proud to partner with such dedicated educators to improve ākonga (learner) success across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Exciting new workshops coming in 2025!

After receiving and listening to your feedback on the way we offer PLD, we’re thrilled to announce that starting in March 2025 there will be some exciting changes coming to selected PLD offerings. Each month will feature a dedicated theme focusing on key challenges faced by educators across Aotearoa New Zealand. During these themed months, we’ll offer weekly lunchtime workshops, along with additional complementary content hosted on Pathways Awarua to help you upskill in the month’s focus area.
